Here’s the winner to Capcom’s official coloring contest for Final Fight: Double Impact! Congrats to Chad Walker for this great submission which will now be the official box-art. He definitely deserved the win amongst very stiff competition. Now he’ll be living it up in New Orleans this spring during Capcom’s very exclusive Capcom Captivate event, [...]
Here are some music video concepts for Samantha Marq and her new single, SUPERGIRL produced by KO the legend featuring Jessie Payo!
Just so that there isn’t any confusion here; these have no relation to DC comic’s Supergirl, it’s just the name of the single.

As some of you already know here’s the winner of the DIGITAL COLOR CHALLENGE done by the very talented, Fabian “Monk” Schlaga of Germany! Thank you all for all of your wonderful submissions, needless to say this coloring challenge was a complete success!
Sneak peak at the “new” style I’ve been working on. This is currently being colored by my good friend and ultra talented painter, Doe. Tried to keep my faces looking like my usual style with a bit of a twist. Hair and facial features were more rendered, blacks were done with heavy hatching, pencils were completely eliminated by going straight to ink with *gasp* a ball point pen! Hopefully the end result is something a little more raw, with a little more energy and realism [...]
CHIU-STREAM was kind enough to have me on the show for an in-depth interview last week and in case you missed it the sketch challenge for all the viewers was to, “Create your own Fighting Game Character!” You can still catch my full interview on Youtube. This was a welcome challenge for me as I have many ideas for characters for my own vision of SF Universe [...]
This was a custom commission piece I had taken from my online store of the two sexy ladies of X-men, Emma Frost as White Queen and Jean Grey as The Phoenix! Tried to do something different with both the composition and the gestures. Didn’t want a prototypical super-heroine feel to this, rather a more sensual depiction of our characters.
Here is my contribution to Udon’s trade paperback Street Fighter Tribute! It’s still in the process of being colored by myself (for the second time) and hopefully it will be completed by this summer’s convention season, where i will be selling prints of this! Let me just say, it hasn’t been easy!
I’ve been working on this concept for seemingly forever! It’s my, “baby” so to speak, my own personal property that I hope to further develop in the future and eventually release as a trade paperback. It’s called, New World Army and it takes place in a post-apocalyptic Earth where different tribes fight for survival and territory. Colors by Arnold Tsang.
I completed this several years ago as a cover for the relaunch of the Street Fighter 2 series. Since then it has been repeatedly reproduced as posters being sold nationwide. Probably one of the pieces I am most proud of during my career!
Here’s another oldie but goodie. I know i promised nothing but fresh foods but this one still makes me tingle. It’s my first ever Street Fighter Cover! It’s the Cover to issue 3 of the first story-arc that i did with DOE way back in 2002 or something like that. Brings back memories!
Here was my final Cover to the SFII series! It’s really not the most awesome layout ever, but it’s definitely cooler seeing this together as one. It was split in the middle, illustrating Ryu’s Dark Hadu side of himself and his constant internal struggles with good and evil.
Pencils and Inks by me, Colors by Espen.
This was an exclusive piece done for Calgary Entertainment Expo. The orginal image was auctioned for charity and it was pretty fun to draw something that I normally wouldn’t. Once again, DOE did an awesome job colooring this. He’s a mad man!
Here’s an oldie but goodie, it’s the street jam poster from 2004, which consists of five covers pieced together from Issues 10-12 of SFI comicbook series. This was colored by Arnold Tsang and DOE. This image has since been used for the NUBY arcade stick, countless wall posters and the backdrop for SFII Turbo HD Remix for the XBOX 360.
This is a double splash image taken from my stint on Marvel’s X-men: Age of Apocalypse. This was an awesome experience for me as I got to draw in homage to one of my favorite artists who has had an huge impact on my artwork, the one and only Joe Maduriera! Not to mention I also got to work with legendary writer, Jeff Loeb.
Here is a redux of a Birdie sketch colored by the ever talented and consummate artist known as, “DOE”. You can peep his page at www.averagedoe.com he is seriously sick!
