MARVEL vs CAPCOM 3 PROMO POSTER - NYCC 2010
Here’s the poster I recently finished for the Capcom booth at NY Comicon and also the Limited Edition Steelbook MVC3 for the PS3 & XBOX360 ! I’ve been getting several requests to post this piece and Udon has kindly forwarded this to me so I’m assuming it’s okay to post now…
Fitting all of these characters in this piece was definitely a bit of a challenge, not to mention getting the scale of each one accurate as well. The end result turned out pretty decent I think.
This was colored by the always talented Saejin Oh!

The Limited Steelbook edition is pretty darn cool, I like how the black on black color-way turned out. Not only that, I like the fact that you can get a peak of how my original pencils turned out too. There are 2 extra downloadable characters included in this edition which is pretty exciting stuff! Definitely a flattering approach by the guys at CAPCOM! To be completely honest I didn’t really hear about this until now, pretty embarassing I know but when it arrives I’m gonna tuck it right under my pillow! The cherry on top?? The interior jacket actually features art by some of my heroes from Capcom Japan, Kinu Nishimura and Shinkiro! DAYAM!! Had the pleasure of meeting Shinkiro several years back at San Diego Comicon in 2005? The guy is incredibly modest, very friendly and definitely the strong silent type. Made me love him even more! ♥♥♥

Already pre-ordered mine…saw your art on there and was already hooked! awesome job on it! SE is pretty much sold out everywhere as far as preorders go, fairly sure it’s b/c of your work

Verryyyyy niiiiice.. I hope you got a big cut with all the MVC3 SE copies sold. As expensive as the SE game got, since I didn’t reserve a copy, I was determined to get it because of this special art work, and tin can of course. I love it. I’m also going to use this photo as a template on my arcade stick. Thanks so much for posting this, as I been searchin for it, and what better place to find it than the actual artist’s website.
