I only have the afternoon and evening on Friday to do all of this I don't know if driving 1 1/2 hours out of the city would be such a great idea. East is Daytona, Vero, Cocoa, Beaches. Water is fairly warm but not exactly clear (Not to mention Hurricane Bill!!). Go west young man to the gulf waters nothing like looking down in the water and seeing all the way to the bottom about 60 to 70 feet of visibility. It will also have less effect from the hurricane currently blowing by. Any beaches in the Tampa St. Petersburg would do nicely..
